The IAM Basingstoke Advanced Motorists Group is a registered UK charity formed in 1983. We have spent more than 40 years making our roads safer by improving driver skills through coaching and education.

We offer courses to suit everyone with all skill levels, from new licence holders to professional road users; our accredited Observers will coach you to achieve the Advanced Driver Qualification by taking a test with an IAM RoadSmart Examiner.

Our Advanced Driver course will give you additional on-road knowledge and skills, above and beyond what is taught when you learn to drive. Advanced drivers have fewer accidents, consume significantly less fuel and can even save money on their car insurance.
