Get involved

To join the Basingstoke IAM Roadsmart just follow the following three steps, and welcome!

Step 1: Join IAM RoadSmart

Call IAM RoadSmart on: 0300 303 1134 or sign up online

You’ll be sent a welcome pack and a course logbook. You will be allocated to a Local Group by postcode which can be changed if preferred.

Step 2: Join Basingstoke Advanced Motorists

You will receive a 1 year free membership with Basingstoke on joining the IAM, which is renewable for a small fee after you become an Advanced Driver.

Step 3: Start your training

You will be assigned an expert Observer to whom you will be able to demonstrate your skills, over a series of observed drives.
